Bennett Hay celebrates International Receptionist Day

Bennett Hay is celebrating International Receptionist Day today, 12th May.

Across its sites, Bennett Hay will be recognising the importance of the receptionist’s role in creating the initial impression of its clients. Reception teams will be acknowledged for their enduring commitment during the pandemic and for their upcoming role in welcoming the workforce back to the ‘next normal’ in office culture.

International Receptionists’ Day was first launched in 1991 and is now celebrated across the globe underlining the importance corporate reception departments play in the workplace experience.

Anthony Bennett, co-founder of Bennett Hay adds, “Reception teams are the first point of contact and set the initial impression of an organisation. Therefore, their role is pivotal in creating goodwill or setting someone at ease when visiting a workplace. We place a big onus on initial impressions and have created service levels that mirror those you’d find in a 5* hotel – smiling, happy faces that are motivated to create a standout experience”.

Bennett Hay has a roster of high-profile clients from managing FTSE-500 head offices to working with landlords and property owners including Here East, St Katherine’s Docks, The Leadenhall Building and most recent account win Harbour Exchange.
